Associate Sales Representative  

Capper-McCall Company is an automation solutions provider that specializes in the sales of packaging machinery equipment, inspection systems and automation solutions.  Founded in 1966, Capper-McCall enjoys over 50 years of success in building relationships and serving customers in the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical / medical device industries. 

As an Associate Technical Sales Representative, you will assist the Regional Sales Manager in maintaining and developing business relationships with manufacturing facilities located in Arkansas, Mississippi, and western Tennessee. You will help perform and manage capital equipment sales responsibilities in the assigned territory.  It is expected that the Associate Sales Representative will work from a home office based in or near the Memphis, TN or Little Rock, AR area.      

Essential Responsibilities

Assist Regional Sales Manager to support the growth of the existing customer base and proactively support the development of new accounts.  
Foster strong relationships with existing customer base. 
Actively engage with Project Engineers, Facility Managers, Plant Managers, and Procurement executives at manufacturing plants within your assigned geographic territory.
Facilitate and build strong relationships between our customers and our automation partners by engaging in efficient, timely and effective communication.  
Ability to develop and review various business documents, such as: Technical Sales Proposals, Order entry documentation, Contracts, Non-disclosure agreements, Installation reports and more.
Participate in coaching and training directed by Regional Sales Manager.
Willingness to travel to conduct customer site visits, Factory Acceptance Tests and Trade shows. Note that some extended travel will be required. 


Four-year college or university degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related field or 2 years related plant and/or sales experience in the packaging machinery industry is preferred.  
Must be self-motivated and have the ability to thrive in a home office environment 
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects
Excellent verbal and written communication skills   
Strong computer skills 

Additional Information 

Machinery portfolio includes horizontal wrappers, vertical baggers, robotics, cartoners, case packers, case erectors and sealers, palletizers, checkweighers, metal detectors, x-ray units, auger fillers, friction feeders, bottle unscramblers and more.

Job Type


Compensation based on salary and commission structure commensurate with experience and other qualifications.

Work Location

Fully remote. Territory includes parts of Arkansas, Mississippi, Tennessee and Alabama.
